I hope this is the right thread. Several boxes of Federal GGM .308 got contaminated with chainsaw blade oil when a plastic bottle was damaged. The oil is very heavy and has been on the rounds for a couple of weeks. What should I use to clean the ammo. I do not have a tumbler--yet! Thanks

Unit91, Look at the date on my first entry to this thread. It's like 4 years old.

A friend inheritied a Springfield 1911. The model number on the box identifies the pistol as a PX1903. We can't find anything about the pistol. If someone has the specs, it wouild be greatlly appreciated. It has the hollow hammer and an obvious trigger job. The slide says 1911-A1. Thanks, Tom
