From what I understand there is no difference between the normal 642 and the ladysmith except for the grips and the "Ladysmith" inscription. The actual gun itself is the same.
The problem is our incredibly vague law here in Georgia. The law says you can't carry to "public gatherings" but never defines what that term means. From what I understand it was originally passed to prevent people from carrying to Klan rallies and Black Panther marches but it's a horrible...
Does anyone know if the owner of the site still updates it? I sent him an email about a model of holster that isn't listed that I wanted to review (Milt Sparks PCH-R) and was wondering if it would be added.
I'd recommend you go and read the post from the guy in the video over at ar15.com. It's about half way down the page. He explains the situation pretty well and easily convinced me that it was a good shoot.
According to him (and the video), the robber never got a shot off. The guy behind...
I don't believe the guys line of fire is as close to the woman as the comera angel appears to show. The camera is high to the left of the action which makes everything appear closer together.
I'm in the same situation as you and looking for a similar gun.
What I think I've settled on is a combo from Mossberg. It's a Mossberg 500 pump that comes with an 18.5" home defense barrel and a 28 inch field barrel. I think they call it the "Security Combo" and it's #54169 on...
I also sent a message to Governor Perdue through his website. As a constituent and someone who voted for him last election I am very concerned about this stance. I'm hoping that this was a confused staffer that made this stupid comment and this isn't the actual stance of the governor.
Brian Williams, What kind of grips is that on that revolver? I have the standard rubber boot grips that came on my 642 and am thinking about replacing it with something that doesn't grab cloth like the rubber. Those look interesting.
I've got to throw my opinion in here as well. I love my 642. I've had it about 4 months and it goes everywhere I go (except work). I usually carry it in a fobus paddle holster under my shirt but sometimes use a Milt Sparks pocket holster when I can't wear it on my hip.
I've also just...
The frame is an aluminum alloy. The barrel and the cyclinder are made of stainless steel and I imagine there are lots of little steel parts inside the gun.
I currently carry in a paddle holster under an untucked shirt. Since in Georgia, with a license, there's no legal difference between open and concealed carry, I don't worry about it peaking out the bottom. Occasionally my shirt will barely cover it but I haven't yet had anyone say anything if...
Rigardless of whether you have this "right", if you agree in a contract not to have weapons on their property then you shouldn't have weapons on their property. I would never sign a lease like that but if someone agrees to that provision then if they brought weapons on the property they would...
