    Plunk test

I reduced the COAL to 1.40 and, using the Glock 43X barrel, each round would plunk then fall out when the barrel was turned upside down. Only 50% of those would spin without catching on a land. When I reduced the COAL to 1.35, all would plunk, spin, and fall out. The difference between 147gr...

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. I will seat a few rounds deeper and let you know how they turn out. Thanks again.

    Plunk test

It is .386 which, oddly enough, is the same diameter with several of the rounds I have, from the old MBC bullet, and they plunk, spin, and fall out without problem. Another piece of information. The barrel I'm using is a brand-new Glock 43-X, 9mm with less than 50 rounds through it. The...

    Plunk test

The black MM wasn't showing anything so I removed all MM and started again using just red. On both, the marks look to be along the bottom.

They are all Starline brass. The red does look longer in the picture but measures out the same.

    Plunk test

The COAL is the same with old and new, which is 1.157. The round in red I decided to seat deeper and it has a COAL of 1.150. The barrel of the Glock is clean. The only marks I can see are maybe on the case edge or rim itself.

    Plunk test

I've been using MBC 9mm, 147gr, bullet for years and check each round with both a case gauge and the pistol barrel. No problems. I just got a new batch of 147gr bullets from MBC and have reloaded 5 rounds. Each one pass the case gauge test but not the barrel test. I'm trying to figure out why...

    Sights for a Glock 43X

I just got a G43X and am thinking about putting in new sights. Thinking about TruGlo TFO or TFX. Would either of these be a good choice?

New to IWB and could use advice for a holster

I remember looking at Milt Sparks when I was looking for an OWB holster. A work of art but their wait is now between 18 and 24 weeks. TT Gun Leather does very nice work and I have purchased from them before. Their thinnest is the Slim XC. Is this still an overkill for a G43X...

New to IWB and could use advice for a holster

Great advice from everyone. Thank you. Seeing that an IWB holster will be worn next to the body, is a leather holster more comfortable than a kydex one?

New to IWB and could use advice for a holster

I just got a Glock 43X and looking for an IWB holster. Never having had one before, I don't know what features to look for and the comfort level of different styles. Two that I have considered are the Simply Rugged Cumberland (or DEFCON 3) and the Crossbreed Supertuck...

    SecureIt Gun Safe

Fire protection is not a worry for me nor is the threat from a determined or professional thief. If they want to get at what's inside, they're going to get it. Given my limited space issue, I think it will provide reasonable protection from the smash-and-grab thief which is my main concern.
