I heard that Midway has come out with a package that enables the owner of their 10 series of rifles to swap out barrels to give the owner a chance to own a savage in a non factory chambering. Has anybody done this? Anybody intrigued by the possibilities? What kind of skills would it take?
Thanks

Over engineered to a fault, but you can do things with handloads that boggle the mind. They also make the basic platform for a wide variety of guns that never were. The work of Linebaugh comes to mind. Thanks to Bill Ruger for allowing the .475, .480 and .500 to be born!
Being from California I can't get any new Taurus .44 spl snub. Someone told me that one of their discontinued models is superior to the newer models anyway. Anybody have thoughts or opinions on this gun?
Thanks
