i've done multiple FTF transactions here in FL, and all have gone smoothly - none at a gun range.
your thinking is spot on, preferring a range, but as you've found out, its just not always feasible. Just pick somewhere well lit and populated, and don't wave it around. those before me are...
someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't some felons eligible to have their civil rights restored, i.e. gun rights? obviously after the proper petitions, paperwork, etc...
regardless, if he's the sort that actually intends to murder, I can't imagine that he would be disuaded from...
I am only taking issue with the use of "free". my point is that by passing the responsibility onto the federal government, you are passing the charge onto everyone. although you won't have to pay your $5 when you purchase a weapon, you will be paying for it in the end.

They were courteous throughout, and I suppose I...
well, I thank you guys for the informative responses. yes, you guys are correct, these were 'used' in a Kimber 1911. I've used gold dots with success in my other weapons (9mm, .357 mag), but i've never seen this occur.
I AM the sort that would just reset/recrimp them, but as of yet I have...
Hello all,
after unloading some Gold Dot 185 GR .45 from one of my home guns, I noticed a small problem.
it seems as if a fwe of the rounds have changed their OAL! It looks like 2 or 3 out of the pack are shorter now. I am not 100% sure, but they may be the rounds that were...
not to thread jack, but with the ban expired now, why are pre-ban magazines still so desireable? Is it simply for some sort of collector value? My post-ban high capacity magazines function 100%, am I missing out on something though?
