If you are a good enough shot and know where your rifle shoots at all yardages, then it does not matter what the caliber is. If you can put a .25-06 in a 2 inch circle at 500 yards and a .458 Lott in a 4 inch circle at 200 yards, does it really matter as long as you bring home your meat? DEAD...
