    Guns in an apartment?

Some states allow landlords to exclude firearms via the lease (if they so choose), while others do not allow this (rendering any such provision of the lease null and void.)

S.W.A.T. Has its day in court

Which of the many cases are you thinking of? There are quite a few SWAT deaths and/or homeowner deaths due to these "raids".

    NRA pushes "smart" gun safe

biometrics for a gun ain't there yet, and no one is saying that it is (except some nutcases in NJ) But a biometric safe isn't that big of a deal. I work with computer tech and I would feel reasonably comfortable with it. People had the same arguments about keypads, but how many people trust...

    Peak Antifreeze Supports Anti-Hunters

This could be American Humane saying "snub us will you? how about this then!" Or it could be a wires-crossed thing: maybe the relationship was terminated, but a mistake was made and they kept passing out the same rebate forms for a while. Maybe there is money that should have gone somewhere...

Utah Gun Ban Back in Court

He had already decided to uphold the ban because he hates guns - he was just looking for an excuse to do so.

    Gun laws in Mexico?

You must absolutely positively do anything in your power to bribe the mexican officials, and the closer to the US border you are the more it is gonna cost. (a ticket in Monterrey will cost ya $5-$10 to bribe the cop. Near the border, more like $200.) However, you must do this without outright...

Teen Rescued From Locked Safe at Kmart

Wow, that is bad. Lots of safes have interior release handles, so you can't get locked inside. I guess this one didn't :banghead:

Trying To Buy New Handgun; Background Check Delayed

Don't you folks keep up with the news? Under Reno and the Clinton Clowns the "instant" approval rate was 70%. When Ashcroft came into town, he asked NICS to get the rate higher. They implemented a simple database change and hit 77%. They realized that they could make even more changes...

CCW in Missouri - Great! And now.... QUESTIONS

That is not quite right for Texas: First timer, 10 hour class. I paid $125, and that included my written test, passport photos, fingerprints, notarized forms, etc. Also practice time and firing test. Basically at the ten hour mark I walked out the door with a complete packet ready to mail...

Nice how they are calling it a homicide rather than self-defense. Love those journalists

    Thoughts on Gun Evolution

In regards to batteries: we are already starting to see chemical cells replace batteries... i.e. the laptop power systems, set to go on sale in 2004, that run of chemical fuels that can be refilled easily. (alcohol based fuels mostly i think.)

    Thoughts on Gun Evolution

You should understand that cars are being asked to do more and more all the time. A/C, traction control, air bags, power steering, electronics, better engines to get more milage and lower emissions, etc. Use modern technology to build the complete exact equivalent of the original ford model...

    Packing.org

I have checked it out and the DNS nameserver entries still exist, but the nameservers (seva.net) are no longer responding. The server itself may be up, but if the nameservers/ISP is down, then it would appear to be offline since DNS will no longer resolve properly. If the server is located...

(MN) Surrender your permit or be fired!

Well in Texas, you can mail the DPS specific names and birthdays, and they will mail you back and tell you whether or not those names correspond to CHL holders. But other than that, the rest of the info is private. So in the case of Texas, I would assume that it is legal to tell people about...
