I think some of those that are still saying this are going off of what their Dad or Grandfather told them. There have been big improvements in ammo over the last 30 years and it really shows in 9mm. I am speculating here but, many times the info we hear is old outdated and inaccurate.

jmorris, that is one fine machine you made there! One thing I do not like about the Giraud unit is how long it takes me to load it with brass. A case feed would be fantastic!

I will venture a guess here and say that is what most of us want! :D I am in the market for a good quality .300 Blackout barrel 14.5"-16" at the best price I can find. I was going to buy a complete upper but that is just not in my budget right now.

The combo of the slightly light load and new gun is likely the reason for the issues your having. As stated above just bump your load up a little bit and you should see these issues disappear.
