    Testing Your Glock Knowledge

I have a Glock 20 and a KKM .40 S&W conversion barrel for it. KKM also makes a .357 Sig conversion barrel for the G20. They also make 6" barrels for the G20 in 10mm, .40 and .357 all for about $165 each. The G20 with the .40 KKM is extremely accurate and works all the time. I am very happy...

    Are Firestorm guns any good?

I have a FireStorm Mini 40 which is one of my favorite guns. It had a few FTFs during the first 100 rounds, but it has been perfect for the last 600 rounds since then. It has a very nice trigger, which is even better since I put a trapper spring kit in it. The fit and finish are not quite in...

    Looking for a .45 CCW under $400

+1 on the Bersa Thunder 45/Firestorm Mini 45. Great DA/SA trigger. Safety/Decock lever. Owners love them. http://www.bersafirearmsusa.com/detail_bersa45.php http://www.firestorm-sgs.com/minispecs.htm

    .22 target pistols

Jenrick, Sorry, don't know for sure, but I doubt that it would. Their ads only mention Ruger and Browning. Next time you get a Ruger and S&W mag side by side, take look at how similar they are. If the lips are close to the same shape and the thumb button is on the same side, it might work...

    Am I going crazy!

Many ranges rent glocks. Rent one. If it talks to you, do what it advises. It would be a little like trading an old Cadilac for a nice pickup truck. Just a matter of what you want.

    .22 target pistols

One more vote for the Rugers. They may not be the greatest out of the box, but the trigger responds well to a little work and and I don't know of any other .22 with more aftermarket support. Here is mine. It is way more accurate than I am. Golf Balls at 25 yd. are good practice. Also...

    .40 guys: Sell me on .40 S&W...

The .40 S&W is my favorite round. 10MM would be, if I could find a supply of cheap brass for it. With the right powders, it is very versitile. I make loads from 250 ft-lb plinking loads up to 686 ft-lb serious business loads. I have a 15 round progression of loads that I make up for people...

    Skyy and Kel-Tec

As was already stated, I'm sure that the Skyy owners are much smaller in number than the Kel-tec owners, so hope you will foregive my speaking up more than once. Many have accused Skyy of copying the Kel-tec and anyone looking at both would have to be a fool to think that the designer of the...

    Skyy and Kel-Tec

I have not fired a P11, but have handled and dry-fired them. I own a Skyy CPX-1. The Skyy definately has a better trigger with a smoother, lighter pull. I have about 500 rounds through it now. I had a few FTF early on with WWB ammo (which Skyy warns against), but it has been perfect the last...

    Kahr MK 9 or MK 40 ?

I have fired my friends PM9 and PM40 one after the other. When you get to guns this small and light, the difference between the recoil of a 9 and 40 gets significantly larger than it is in standard size guns. The muzzle flip of the 40 is also much greater. Preceived recoil is a very...

    Glock kabooms,10mm vs .40S&W

As far as Federal brass being weaker... Older Federal brass with "FC" on the headstamp was among the thinest near the web area. Federal acknowleded thier problem and improved their deminsions a few years back and is now among the strongest .40 S&W brass. The redesigned Federal brass has...

25 cent trigger job on Glocks...

Although changing out the Glock connector to a 3.5 lb model is often done at the same time as a $.25 trigger job, it is not really part of it. The $.25 job is called that because it only involves polishing certain parts where the only cost is the polishing compound. The $.25 job does not...
