I don't blame them - these prices are driven by buyers willing to pay $20 for a box of 9 mm FMJ. However, as I said in combined ammo thread, I'll make an effort not to buy from them again - not now, not when (and if) prices come down. They made their choice to milk it; other retailers didn't and...
They are capitalizing on demand. My local retailers sell this ammo for $14 a box, but they limit amount that you can buy. It is a golden time for ammo retailers, and Natchez is marking it up as much as they can.

Depends on a workplace, I guess. Couple of month ago I offered to take a guy who works as our office manager to shoot an AK. And then one of our PR guys wanted to tag along. And then another guy from HR really-really wanted to join us 'cause he'd never shot an AK... :)
Provided that your friends said nothing threatening towards their co-workers or humans in general, this would be an inappropriate reason for termination and grounds for meritorious law suit.
One could debate practical value for a civilian user, such as probability of a need for an important shot from an unusual position. Regardless of that, CT grips are an exceptional training tool, and very valuable low-light tool.
Unless all these 5 schools are equivalent in reputation, quality of training and placement of their graduates, I cannot understand how each respective state's gun laws should matter.
I don't need to tell what's happening in economy and job market in general. You need to get the best...
Not sure of bbl markings - this rifle is not with me right now. I am not even sure if there are markings. The serial # on mine is TTL018xx, if this helps at all. Maybe, give Century a call beforehand?
Golden Hound: yes, it is possible. I asked folks in gun shop to do it for me, and they put in a Warsaw Pact plastic stock in 5 minutes. P.S. I type too slow...
yongxingfreesty: I have a Century that I got 3 months ago. It is true that some of their rifles had oversized bore that lead to...
Thanks for pitching in.
Frankly, I do think too that S&B is superior unit. When I searched the topic on this forum, the FOV and mounts were mentioned as CQ/T's shortcomings. However, on paper, the FOV and mounts appear to be the same between two optics. Looks like other things are in play.
Hello,
My question stems from the search on low magnification variable AR optics. I see that Short Dot is considered to be the better option available. Leupold CQ/T is criticized for poor FOV and ARMS mounts.
Looking at the Larue site, they have a mount for CQ/T.
From manufacturer's...
I got both, regular and billet. Just about for any purpose, the regular is just fine. As far as strength is concerned, there is probably only one spot on the lower where billet is stronger, and with careful attention with assembly of regular lower, this should be a non-issue.
I asked my electrophysiologist partner about pacers today, and he have not had any issues, except for what I'd said - protection from mechanical impact. He is not aware of any issues with lead dislodgement etc. We're are in northern Utah, with plenty of hunters around here, and he said "I always...
ICDs and pacers are different. With ICD, one has to be concerned with travel of current between the lead and the can (jargon for the generator, not sound suppressor:D), so left sided placement is beneficial. With pacer, side of insertion is irrelevant.
I would not recommend positioning the...
WayaX: I stand corrected on manual safety on 239.
Actually, finger grooves and absence of manual safety are "negative" features for me. I included them in "feature set" just because they are what they are - features, but I didn't mention whether I like them or not 'cause this post is not...
