Went to the High Caliber GRB Convention Center gun show this morning. More .22lr ammo than ever if you were willing to pay ~$0.10/round for it. The large supply and minimal interest in it may mean things are getting better. There was some at ~$0.07/round but I didn't bite, I'd found some for $0.06/round at the local Academy.

Also decent selection of pistol reloading powders, still a little high, but 8lb of Unique for $195 is approaching tolerable if I was in the need, not having the HazMat fee for cash and carry justifies a bit higher price for only a single jug.

The glut of AR parts continues, hard to believe most barrels cost less than a keymod handguard!

No luck seeing a CMMG Mutant I've been wanting. Lots of neat pistols at good prices, but I can't really justify buying any more pistols since iron sighted shooting has become an exercise in frustration, and adding a red dot is an expensive value loosing proposition once you get out of the mainstream where the rear sight replacing mounts aren't available (Fastfire, etc.)

For the first time in quite awhile, I am able to get all reloading supplies locally in upstate SC although specific pistol powders are kind of sketchy. Pricing is stable, but not all that great. As for .22's, they are still a challenge. All that said, I am optimistic that things are getting better.

SC Shooter, where are you finding powder in the upstate? I've been looking for 2400 for a good while without any luck...

If you spread the haz-mat feet out over several items, you can do alot better than $195/8lbs.

Last week, I ordered 8 lbs of CFE Pistol and 3 lbs of AA-2460, with shipping the CFE pistol came out to $152/8 lbs.

I believe 2400 is AWOL for the time being.

Yep, I saw it very briefly on Powder Valley's website about six weeks ago but that was it. Numerous other powders, however, are indeed showing up in semi-healthy quantities; this is a good thing.

I am stocking up on what I can, when I can- I sure don't want to be in a pickle yet another time...

Many real gun shops around here usually have some variety of either exotic/expensive, or some other stuff I have never heard of. And only small packages. Every once in a great while Cabelas or FleetFarm has some bulk packs at decent prices, but they dont last a day on the shelf. In the past few years I've only gotten a hold of three bricks.

I do not frequent gun shows and the like. Mainly I shop Fleet Farm where the prices are not artificially inflated.

In recent months though I have noticed that, at least locally, powder seems to be making a slow but steady comeback.

Dang, I would love to attend a real gun show in Texas. :)

Here in Southern Calfornia reloading supplies are still in short supply and expensive when you can find anything. :(

The .22 ammo shortage continues with re-sellers lining up at 5AM at Wally World to buy .22 as it gets off loaded from the Truck....

They resell on Craigslist.

My favorite gun store still has a hard time getting bulk powders. I've resorted to Internet shopping, accepting the freight and hazmat fees.....

It can only get worse. Our next Govenor has promised to require a Ammo ID Card, all sales thru FFLs, no internet sales, special tax on ammo, restrictions on how much you can buy before the Police are notified.

I am stocking up on reloading supplies but I fear for my adult kids and their rights....:(

The academy near me that rarely had 22 until 6 months ago just upped their limit from 2 50 round boxes to the equivalent of a brick.

Sounds like trips to Reno or Vegas might be in order...........

Hit or miss aw at Wally World. Most of the LGS have had it in stock at prices, Minimags less than $8. Bulk 500+-, in the low $30. I haven't bought any in at least 2 years. My stock is down to around 12k.
Sometimes I think people post about how bad it is to keep up the hype....maybe it's my tinfoil....

I wandered into Wally World to buy Roundup and a 9V battery and got two boxes of 555 Winchester for $28.50 each. Limit 3 but I wasn't ready to spend that much and there were 7 more boxes in the case. I should have bought some for friends but I called them to let them know it was there. I've been fortunate to find a brick here and there all under $.08 and more recently under $.06.
