Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for something that can be put up and taken down each year. I'm going to be hunting some large plots of agriculture land next year and the property owner does not want a permanent elevated blind in the middle of his fields all year. I need a blind that can be taken apart in panels and stored during the summer and then put together again before season starts. I've been thinking about trying some of those molded plastic blinds due to their light weight and seemingly easy assembly and disassembly, but I have no experience with any of them. In the past, I have built my own out of 2x4s and plywood but they end up getting very heavily and are not exactly portable or easy to disassemble. I'm really wanting to spend a ton of money on like a Redneck Blind since this is my first year hunting this area. I don't want to invest a lot of money before knowing how the deer population is first.

They make those pop up blind that are like little tents. You can order them from Cabela's. Other wise you can make a folding frame friends m 1x2 lumber and cover it with burlap or camo cloth. Or make a roll up frame from tall stakes and camo cloth. Menards has stilt stands with wheels that double as a deer cart.

I was thinking morr of a hard sided blind with a hard roof and windows of some kind. I've tried cloth, nylon, etc and they just don't work well. Plus they are cold and I put in a lot of time sitting. Being warm and comfy is a huge plus for me.

Get a tent blind and put a buddy heater in it. Anything hard sided will probably need wheels.
Ever think about camo coveralls with pocket heaters. Works for me.

Not going to do a tent type blind. That's not what I'm looking for. This will be going on farm ground, so I have a trailer and tractor with a front loader that I can use to get the blind and platform put up. I just need to be able to reasonable disassemble before planting in the spring.

I sit for 8 to 10 hours at a time generally. Coveralls and pocket warmers are certainly not enough.

I've often wondered why nobody seems to make a blind from plastic panels that can be snapped together. I've seen other things like garbage enclosures and stuff like that made of such panels. A person could even put a place underneath to put 4x4's to raise it off the ground. Such a blind could even be assembled in varying sizes to meet the demands of the situation.
It would seem to me a manufacturing niche that would prove successful if done within a reasonably affordable price range.

If there is an elevated one that is commercially available, you'll probably need deep pockets. $$$$
I can build an elevated platform that can be taken down. The blind on top is what I'm trying to find. I can eveb build the blind on top, but can't think of a way to build it sturdy enough to last, but not so heavy that I can't disassembly it. That's why I was thinking some prefab.

Ever thought of building a blind on a small garden tractor sized trailer? Of course it would have to be furnished with some leveling jacks, but easy to do.

Butch.
