Well I'm on vacation to my grandfathers farm and pulled up the local armslist and found a CZ452 with Nikon buckmaster scope for $250 got it home and Wow 5 shots covered with a quarter at 100 yards
I think that was a pretty good deal if I decide to get rid of. It in the future I shouldn't lose money at least that's what I told my wife

From what I can find the date stamp on it is 03 so I guess 2003 and have read that is the first year cz put .17hmr out so would that change the value any?

Saw a groundhog in our pasture yesterday. My CZ 455/17 HMR quickly solved the problem. It's a very good combination and my .22 sees a lot less use these days. You'll enjoy yours.

That was a great deal, and it reminds me, I need to get my 17HMR CZ 455 out of the safe soon. I've been playing with my centerfires so much lately that I haven't spent much time with it. Oh well I'll change that this next weekend. They are great rifles in a great chambering.

I have CZs in .17 HMR, .22 LR and .22 WMR – all three accurate and a joy to shoot.

The OP indeed got a great deal.

Of the dozens of rifles I have bought and foolishly sold off for something shiny or stupid, the CZ 452 American 17 hmr I purchased in 2004 was the most accurate un-modified rifle I ever owned or fired.

CZs are awesome. I've got a 452 Varmint in .17HMR and it has taken scores of groundhogs. I also ordered a 455 Tacticool in .22LR which will be outfitted with an AAC Element 2. Should be a sweet, uber quiet shooter!

$250 was a steal. Well done!
