New Model Blackhawk & free spin pawl

I have a New Model Blackhawk 45 convertible and am thinking of installing a Power Custom free spin pawl. I looked in the archives but there was not much there. Has anyone done this and what is your input. The YouTube videos were helpful but I wonder what the real world experience might be. Also while I am at it I am thinking of doing a trigger and hammer spring change. All suggestions and input is welcome.
