Never know what you’re going to find

1983 in the ROK, several of us acquired a Korean knock-of of the Apple II along with some early computer games. Helped to keep us out of trouble during that assignment. No way was US Customs going to let any of us bring that machine back stateside, so it got passed down to replacements.

Dang...I looked all around my work bench and racks..nary a Red Jacket to be found

See Shim...the plot thickens...

I checked, it’s a 03A3 sight.
I did put up a new LED light today.

Some of the ammo on the bench. Some 375 Winchester , wish I had the Big Bore 94 my father in law had.

Some Federal 150 gr PowerPoint ammunition, from what year, I don’t know.

And then something odd. Some old fake motor vehicle inspection stickers (MVI) from 2003.
Back when I was in Uniform Patrol we did what we called nontypical buck hunting. We had to be doing the speed limit and spot the fake MVI on a moving vehicle coming from the opposite direction. Never took long to find one. Most often the drivers had no insurance on their vehicles.

I still have two boxes of 375 Winchester. Sold the rifle a couple of years ago. Just sat around the safe. Never really shot it much.

Wouldn’t those be kinda tainted? I would build them and use them.
They belong to a friend of mine. There were three of them but, I used one to build him a rifle. Look back at post #395 on page 16. They have been here for about a year now. He’s not sure what he wants to build with these.

I like the Anderson lowers. Is that a Spartan in glock on the upper left? Just finished my 9mm build with one, going to put it through it paces tomorrow.

In the pic there are four Anderson lowers in the box with one Rock River (on the right).
The Spartan lower is for my 9mm pistol build, just need to get an arm brace to have all the parts for the build.
To the right of the Spartan is the Hellbreaker by Sharp Brothers. It’s for a P-40 Warhawk build.
And then there are the two Areo Gen 2 lowers.
I like the Anderson lowers, good milspec. The Areo Gen2’s mag well is flared a little more and has a set screw.
I have used the Spartan lowers to build 9mm and 556 rifles. I think it’s about the best deal on a billet low you can find.

Off track? This is the ultimate, catchall, feel good, indulge yourself thread. Tons of fun, going on in all kinds of different directions.
Well, I am trying to keep the topic on the things I find while cleaning up, but I tend to go off topic myself.

But this should get us back on track. These are a few set of grips I have.

Sorry to go off track, but if I could only fly in 2...

A10 and sr71. No hesitation, no second guessing. Gotta love plane built to get shot at...a10 somehow still flies when all that's left is a piece of twine and half of a tire, sr71 takes a different approach....missiles tracking, just push the throttle a bit more and hang a left when you hit the Pacific.
