What is the last gun that you bought?

Been updating myself in this thread every now and then. Just trying to do my part in getting it to then thousand posts. ;)

My last was a Beretta 21A about three weeks ago. I have a thing for mouseguns and am keeping an eye out for a 950 Jetfire.

I'm not sure if this counts, but it's like a new gun even though it's just a new barrel for the x39 upper I got from Primary Arms/Bear Creek Arsenal and installed last night

This Zastava M85 in 7.62x39 is new to me ... I don't think it will be the last gun tho

Another Sig, but brand-new in a Nashville gun store in Belle Meade:
M11 A1, a tweaked '228'/'229' with factory standard Short Reset Trigger and my tritium night sights.
Why brand-new retail?

Nobody with a used 9mm Sig P229 in west/middle TN was willing to drive At All to make deals when I accepted their firm prices. Three times I drove one way, over two hours (from Memphis to Waverly TN: all three deals; SKS, WW2 Mauser Hsc, EG Makarov).

I finally got around to picking up a new-style Ruger Charger. I got the non-takedown model. I really like the traditional wood look combined with the A2 style grip and the top rail. Slapped my spare Bushnell Trophy 1x28 red dot on it. It's just as much fun as I expected it to be. Rest the bipod on a bench from a sitting or kneeling position, and it's almost like cheating. Nobody doesn't like shooting this thing! We took a 70-year-old lady we know to the range the other night, and she shot a bunch of our smaller-caliber stuff. She loved how accurately she could shoot the Charger from a chair and its negligible recoil. When it was all over, I asked her which one she liked best. "The Charger by far!" she replied.

One interesting thing; I discovered that it REALLY doesn't like Winchester white box 36 gr ammo (lots of stovepipes), even though it ran flawlessly on several other types of standard velocity .22s.

I got my second Savage 12 FV yesterday. Cabela’s had another sale but it wasn’t as sweet as the last one for $219. I ended up with a 204 Ruger one this time and the final price after the sale and rebate will be $269+tax. I’ll be taking this one to South Dakota soon to rub out some prairie dogs.

I would wait till it warms up a bit before going up North. You could dress real warm but most of my long guns are fit for midyear clothes........wait. Slip on but pad. Problem solved. Have fun.

Soon to me is mid summer. It’s cold enough here in western Kentucky for me right now. I can imagine what it’s like there. I still have to get the rifle squared away and a butt load of ammo loaded. Right now it’s so muddy here I’d sink to my neck if I went out to my range. Come on spring!!

Complete gun: Sig M11A1 (bought it used and added the Piranha grips). I just ordered a 6.5G upper for my DDM4 (which I would consider a new gun when it has the upper).
