Adding Items With A Trust

Generally speaking yes. But it depends on the wording of the trust itself. How are you planning to come about having this trust?

I will be setting up a trust with the help of a local lawyer who I have yet to contact. It.is certainly a question for him/her and I intend to ask. The reason for asking here had more to do with planning things out. I have no issue saving for 2 silencers if it is somehow easier.

I imagine if he knows that you don’t specifically want to never be able to add assets, he’ll take care of you.

Typically you have a Schedule A which is a running list of property that the Trust owns and each time you add property to it you fill out an Assignment of Property which is usually a one page document. It's basically just keeping a record that you personally are giving up interest to the property to the Trust. When I add a new item to my Trust it takes me 5 minutes.
