What types of powder can be used to load this round with. I am new with this weapon and just getting things set up to start loading for this gun. Any help would be great.

H4198, H322, IMR8208, Benchmark, H335; and similar.
Check out Accurate and Alliant powder web sites for additional choices.

8208, cfe223, and w748 were what i used.
I settled on a heavy charge of cfe223 as it didnt give up any accuracy, and produced top velocity in my rifle.

Reading my Hornady manual it appears that many of the powders tested and listed for .223/5.56 will work for your Grendel.

I try to stick with one powder that works well with more than one cartridge, eliminating having a shelf full of different powders. Presently I have only 3 different powders for two rifle cartridges, four pistols cartridges and one shotgun gauge.

I've got to agree with a few posts above if your Grendel won't shoot a 120/123 bullet pushed by IMR 8208 you have a tomato stake for a barrel.
