I have an SP1 and a preban Colt HBAR that sport original iron sights (SP1) and a Colt 4x Scope (HBAR), of course I also have two M4geries, an A4 clone and an A2 clone that sports a useless (to me, except for how it looks) 37mm launcher.

My blue label Comp HBAR 6700 is stone stock except for a little judicious trigger stoning. Occasionally I'll put a 4-16 mil dot on it for longer range work, but most of the time it goes bare.

Believe me, it's heavy enough without adding junk to it.

Regards,
Rabbit.

To be a true Mall Ninja, you gotta have a 14.5" barrel, 6-position buttstock and an extra position on the selector switch. :) That really strikes fear into the would-be shoplifter.

Mine are absolutely bone stock, although I'd like an ACOG for my Bushy flattop. Heh, as long as I'm wishing, I'd also like a pony...

Dissipator ( at the moment, it is correctly known as 'pre-ban' ) --- :)
If you remove the scope/mount and cheekpiece, it's pretty basic and non-ninja'd...with only the Redi-Mag; Hogue grip; buttpad and KNS front sight left on it.

Oh, yeah...the Vortex FS.;)

I have a bushmaster shorty...no bells and whistles.I had considered adding a brake but just don't have the money to do it.It works fine just the way it is anyways.

No ninja here. My DMPS Panther Lite has actually been "de-ninjafied." I took off the stupid fake collapsible stock and put on a solid A1 stock. Low speed, high drag looks, but feels 10X better. (The faux collapsing stock is for sale cheap.)

I did swap the A1 rear sight aperture for an A2 and add a tritium front post. No dot sights, lasers, or $500 flashlights. I put a $5 "Duckbill" pistol grip on it, to keep my dainty middle finger from getting chewed up (I don't have high speed Nomex gloves). Sling is just the boring black nylon carrying strap that came with the gun. No high speed 3-point, tactical, single-point, Giles, Chalker, etc., sling for low-speed me.

I don't even have a fake "press-on" flash suppressor or a muzzle brake that looks like one. Just a boring old plain, skinny barrel.

I spent all my extra money buying cases of ammo so I could practice with my low-speed gun.

I am sure my lack of modifications will eventually get me killed when "The SHTF" and my suburban home is overrun by rampaging gangstas, al-Qaeda, the local constabulary, the National Guard, or the sentient alien elephants from "Footfall."

None of those fancy ninja-like A2 sights here: :D

Colt SP1. Stock. No forward assist, triangle handguards, A1 stock and grip, slabside.

I also have one that has been dubbed "Robo-gun" by the DFW High Road Shooters Group. There are a few in between, too.

My dissi's got a holosight, and a replacement grip handle, that's about it.

BTW, I was under the impression to be truly mall ninja'd, you've have to duct tape Level III ballistic plates to your AR, so as to enable it to take multiple rounds of .308 in the back while your GF makes the long shots. :neener: :neener: :neener:

Gee, the only ninja-fying I did was put 550 cord between the sling and whatever place I attached the 550 cord to the rifle. (It varied depending on what I was doing.) Not very nifty looking, but it worked. Easier to move with the rifle.

Mind you, it depends what you're using the rifle for. If you're plinking groundhogs at 300m, a scope might be handy. If you're kicking in doors, a flashlight might be handy. If you're engaging a number of targets in rapid succession, a holographic or red dot sight might be handy.

To each their own. People buying stuff that isn't really needed drives a large part of the US economy, so I'm not gonna complain.

16" Bushmaster Dissipator, bbl turned down to light wt configuration. Carry strap. GGG M3 white light mount. A1 handle. Iron sights. About as simple and light as can be had. The extra sight radius makes a big diff to my mid-40's eyes.

:D Harry's pic...that's absurd..I understand the need for everything else:uhoh:, but why the carrying handle? :D :scrutiny:

pretty stock here, except for the non-collapsible, collapsible looking stock, which will change once the AWB expires. have a KOBRA to mount on it too.

Nope, my dog wasnt a hunting trophy :). Her asleep was the only way I could get her to stay still long enough to take the picture. The hendrix album belongs to mysister. Come on guys, your suppsoed to marvel at my ar and hipower, not my sisters record collection and my dog's trophy status :).

I got a plain A2 and a M4 with A2 stock and thats all, so basiclly it is even less ninjad than a regular M4.

You mall ninjas with your fancy loading systems and sights. My rifle is just a block of wood with an iron barrel on it. I stuff powder and ball down one end and hold a lit match to the other.

None of these fancy "triggers" or "auto-loading" for me! ;)
