does anyone have any experience with them? I’m looking to upgrade several triggers and these sure seem nice for the money.
I’d need them to work on everything from milsurp to regular large and small rifle primers. And to not rack fire on AR10.

Will be used for target and varmint shooting. Must be drop and bump safe. I carry loaded and on safety in the truck.

I wouldn't ordinary touch anything from them. They go by other names as well.. Google the address

What is your budget? Prefer single or 2 stage?

Dang their BBB is ugly.
Single stage. 3# range. If something in the 100-150 range would work I could put the same one on all my Ar’s I shoot. What’s it take to have a good one? I’ve done what I can to a Milspec trigger and it’s still hurting me past 4-500 yards.

Since you said single stage and around 3 lbs, this CMC trigger on sale at MidwayUSA is probably your best bet. Description says 3.5-4 lbs.

If you don't mind bumping up to 4.5-5.5 lbs, the Hiperfire EDT line of triggers would be worth a look in your budget.

That said, I'm partial to 2 stage triggers myself, and my AR has a Geissele G2S which ran me around $130 I think since I got it on sale. 4-4.5 lb total trigger weight split between two stages is great for precise shooting on a budget. After that, my next choices would be a LaRue MBT-2S and Rock River Arms National Match 2 Stage in that order. I put the RRA last only because I've heard complaints about durability on them.

If you are going to be shooting mil surp and everything else I.would look at the Hiperfire EDT.Even with a 4.5lb trigger pull it is designed for reliable primer strikes. I put one on my Colt 6721 and it works perfect.I got mine from Joe Bobs for $80 or so.

Well I guess I’m going to have to decide, I thought I wanted the single. But I have had an ar with the rock river heavier 2 stage and I liked it but it was still heavy. That’s varmint may be worth a try. The price is certainly right and I don’t have to worry about any safety issue.

I have a CMC Flat trigger with the little dingus. It is very nice despite the review in the above article. I also have an Elftmann. From what I can feel dry firing, it is extraordinary. It is also touted as being drop safe. It is two hundred and eighty dollars and worth it. But a CMC is a great single stage trigger for about half that.

I prefer single stage and have a Timney 3lb in my one AR but they run a little over $200.00. I’ve been very pleased though. I’d be willing to try a CMC if I ever get another AR.

Just did a little reading on Davidson Defense. I think I’d stay away from them too.
After I signed up for their site they sent me and email with specials and holy smokes there’s some deals in it though. I may try them out on something. I really like the looks of their omega grips.

I ended up ordering that rock river 2 stage varmint. I like the idea of being able to afford several for others as well as getting a similar trigger that’s heavier for my night vision gun.

Rock River triggers are a proven commodity. Not that it matters but I believe you made a wise choice.
Yea. I mean I drive 1000 rough miles a week or more on a loaded chamber. I can’t really chance something going off. I trust Rick river. I’d trust a Timney, but can’t afford one for all my AR rifles.

Fence line? Or Border fence line?
Fence line. Ag consulting. Crop and range land. Checking fields and talking to growers. Shooting varmints is just for fun as much as predator control.
Could used for other purposes if called to do so.

Know the area well. Grandmother grew up in Guthrie and Throckmorton. Grandfather in Dickens. My first job out of college was yard foreman at the sale barn in Abilene, used to get some cattle in from your area.

I know you purchased already and it is a good trigger, but try to catch the Larue mbt on sale for $99 if you need another one in the future. Best value out there. Just as good as my Geiselle ssa
