Well, it's taken a while. I apologize for that. Thank you all so much for helping me keep our WWI Colt; it has indeed become an heirloom. Dad is finally back to normal with his health, he celebrated 90 on Flag Day, and I do believe he's going to be around awhile. Here is a pic that so many of you asked for; I finally got him to sit still to do it today! Here they are...

Great to see a happy ending! I'm fairly new to this forum and haven't had a chance for much computer time the last couple of months.

I just ran across your previous thread over the weekend. Unbelievable what a great community The High Road is. My hat is off to all!:)
 
Yeah, Bob, he's 90... and the doc says he has the heart of an 18 year old, and the colon of a 30 year old... some folks are just extraordinarily blessed... like me... I still have him, and a wonderful family here...
