I know everyone has just been sitting on pins and needles to wonder what way I am going to go with the PC Carbine purchase I talked about dropping the hammer on. Well, I dropped the Master Card on a purchase of a pistol caliber....... pistol.
Okay, it's almost a carbine, it's an Extar EP9. Had one come in on an ffl transfer and looked pretty good and they were currently available on the website. We'd had one come in a couple of years ago but I had sort of forgotten about them and this reminded me.
The thing is, although it comes with a nifty tactical brace and all that, it doesn't come with any sights. It's going to be used for short range plinking and home defense. The only guns I have with optics are my double deuce rifles, I am pretty much an open iron sights guy for the most part. Any recommendations or thoughts would be appreciated. If you're not familiar with the Extar, I'm including a picture.
