I was working in downtown Ft Collins today and ended up behind a pickup with several 2nd Amendment stickers in the back window. The one that caught my attention was a silhouette of an AR15 with the wording "You only hate me because I am Black" below it. The funny part was that the truck was driven by a black man. I gave him a thumbs up and a big smile when I pulled beside him at a light.

"Criminals prefer unarmed victims" was a bumper sticker I had on all my vehicles for about 20 years. I don't do bumper stickers anymore but will sport a window decal so long as it somewhat blends with the color scheme (I'm strange like that).
If I could find a decal for that, I'd strongly consider it.

Good way to have your gun stolen and your car broken into.

Or better yet, your house because you parked in the drive way.
I agree. I don't do any hunting or gun stickers on my truck and also take firearms in and out when no one is around. My brother tried flying the Gadsden flag and thin blue line flag at my moms house. I told her take that crap down right now before something happens to you or the house. She has African American neighbors that are pretty good people and I was afraid the Gadsden flag would be offensive. The thin blue line flag was for family in LE. I told her with the way things are going with LE now days don't fly it. I don't wear gun shirts or NRA stuff. I also don't wear camo into a restaurant so someone can steal my gear while I am eating.

I live on horse property in the city. Its goes along the lines of having a CCW - incognito.

Funny part same people who hate people that OC, will have several gun related stickers on their car or truck.

You know, it's a pretty dark day when we have to sacrifice our own freedom of expression for fear of retaliation or crime. How far we have fallen.
Just because you have a right of free expression doesn’t mean it’s always a good idea to use it. Would you walk around in a bad neighborhood wearing a shirt that says “I’m carrying a large amount of cash”? How about a sticker on your car saying “I transport diamonds for a major jewelry maker”?

Any sort of sticker on your vehicle indicating there might be a gun inside is a giant neon sign for thieves. Advertising that you have valuable stuff in your home or vehicle has never been a good idea. This is not a new phenomenon.

I don't disagree at all. But we've come a long way from when back window gun racks were common. People today seem (1) to "take offense" where none was intended, and (2) feel like they have to make an issue out of it rather than letting it go.
