Ramshot Big Game vs Tac in 8mm Mauser

Anybody reload for 8mm with either of these two powders.
Almost the same velocity and pressure from both.
Since the shortest rifle I have is ~23", and there is almost 63gr H20 capacity, I am thinking that big game is the wiser choice

I have reloaded for the 8mm Mauser and IMR4064 really works good with 185gr bullets that I've used. I know this isn't a powder you have. So just an FYI if nothing works for you.

I'll second Steve in NC on this one. I don't have a load for the powders you mentioned.

I like H- 4895, which is not the same as IMR 4895. They are close.

If you can find a recommendation on either the powder or bullet supplier, that's what I'd go with for starters.
