While sitting at the computer this morning I came across an article in Business Insider on the trial of Jesus Vincente Zambada- Niebla, the son of the Sinaloa leader El Mayo Zambada and came across an interesting excerpt;
Zambada-Niebla also alleged that Operation Fast and Furious was part of an agreement to finance and arm the cartel in exchange for information used to take down its rivals. (If true, that re-raises the issue regarding what Attorney General Eric Holder knew about the gun-running arrangements.)
I think most of knew there was more to that Fast and Furious snafu than what was portrayed. Would be interesting to see if this ever went any further. If anyone knows please let me know. In the meantime I’ll do more research on it.
