Has anyone shot Aguila 55 gr fmj ammo or their 62 gr?
I bought a 300 round box and will run an accuracy and Chrono test with it if it's not too windy this week.

Looked at it in 62gr, keep looking & walked on. Hard to pass in 50 round box for $6/20 +- for blasting.

And how is the brass for reloading? Is the primer hole punched straight?

Also for my personal info is this Co. pronounced a-gwee'-la or, a-ghee'-la, whereas this writers ( ' ) is emphasis on that syllable

Velocity in a 1-8 twist 16" AR is in the high 2930's.
20 shot group was over 6".
For reference this AR runs 3" with Federal fmj and less than 2" with Armscor 55sp.

It shot well for me in both my AR and my m11 savage. Shot 6 " at 300 iny AR with buis and just overoa in my savage.

Iirc it's Spanish for eagle. The cases seemed fairly well cut I reloaded 100 pieces of brass without issue. And shot well as reloads.

I'm going to try it in my 1-12 and 1-9 twist. Hopefully one of them likes it.

Only thing I shoot from my back porch are air rifles. And mostly wood chuck's and squirrel. I do target shoot with my grandson out back
I built a shooting bench into the railing. It elevates me enough to shoot over the hay field except for a few weeks before mowing.
During that time, I have steel set up at 130 yards for my handgun and cast bullet guns.

I’ve bought and shot a lot of Fiocchi in the 50 round boxes, no Aguila .223 yet.

The Aguila 22 LR works well (funky smell when shot, though), as does their .22 Mag and center fire 9mm and .45. The price isn’t bad for brass plinking ammo .

Stay safe.

Their standard velocity 22 is pretty good in my 22's.
I just wish they were Hollow points.

Why?
Not that I don’t like hollow points.;)

I thought this deserved an update. I made some changes to my AR and it now shots this ammo into roughly 2". It's gusting in the low 20s with a steady wind of about 10, so I'm happy with it.
Now I can start stocking up on it.
