I’ve been mainly loading 6.5 bullets for a Tikka 260 CTR. I picked up a Tikka 6.5 cm for the wife to use when not using her 7-08. Both guns have been easy to load for. Throw between 41 and 43 grains of H4350 behind any 140 grain bullet and they shoot pretty much sub moa all day long.
I was able to get the 130 accubond to shoot .3 groups out of the 260. I’m trying my best to get the 129 long range accubond to shoot out of the creedmoor. Only one grain difference in the bullet but 2 inch groups at best. I’d bought a few hundred of these for 6.5 Grendel which I had problems with also. has anyone tried a different powder on the lr accubonds. I’m at wits end on these. I’ve seated longer, shorter. Ran powder charges in .5 increments from minimum to maximum. I think they would make a great hunting round in this rifle if I can ever get them to work. Going to try some Alliant powder for a change but I’m not holding my breath.
