Any owners/shooters yet?
We got one at the shop and I became obsessed. Brought it home yesterday, de-horned all the mold edges, tightened all the screws, stripped and lubed it, put the silencer threads on, and I'm ready for the range test. The guys at work laughed at it, but I can't wait to shoot the little 16+1 plinker, with and without the can.
The early reports were bad, but lately I've read some pretty good reviews. Anyone here taken the plunge yet?

I ran about 250 rounds of 5 different flavors of .22, had 2 ammo induced failures, both eventually fired on the 2nd hit. I call reliability excellent, accuracy VG, fun-factor way over the top. The P17 ran great with my suppressor, and I loved the trigger and all the controls. My 2 shooting buddies agreed on all counts. Here are a few pics. Next is cleaning and inspection.

Yeah. Can you use the sights with that suppressor? It looks like you can.

I got one back in January and through the first thousand rounds it was fine. All of a sudden the trigger pull started to feel different, the break didn't seem right..I'd pull the trigger, and there was a slight delay before the hammer fell and it would fire. My local FFL sent it in..I don't recall what they replaced, but it came back good as new. While it was gone, I bought a TX22 and started to appreciate it more than the P17, so I traded it in for something else. I was impressed that it ran just fine with subsonic ammo. With a suppressor it's even more fun. I might get another one at some point, Kel-Tec service was very good.

Just back from another 250 or so outing...3 different flavors than yesterday. All went 100%.
Not a big Taurus fan, so I think I'll be keeping my P17.

I got one in April I think. It works very well. Yes, it is pretty much all plastic except for the barrel, but it seems to work. The 16 round mags worked flawlessly. They made me think Ruger needs to make a new frame for their Mark IV that takes these mags. The one nag is the rear sight adjustment is a spring loaded screw and it tends to drift to the left when shooting. I haven't tried to loc-tite it down yet. It is really light weight and comes with three 16 round mags. It is a fun pistol to shoot. Mine works with just about any ammo.

One caution: Be careful where you field strip the gun. The little barrel bushing tends to fall out when you take the slide off and if it falls into the grass/dirt, it can disappear real easy. On the other hand, Keltec was nice enough to send me a replacement pretty quick.

Haven't lost any bits yet...will watch for that. Also haven't needed to adjust the rear sight, hope it will remain in stasis!

22plinkster reviewed it on his YouTube channel today. He liked it enough he bought a second one.

Bought a new Keltec two months ago, had all kinds of problems, sent it back to Keltec and they did fix,got it back runs great,so far to date I have shot 1200 rounds through it with no problems, I really like this little gun.
