Ruger Sp101 as a concealed carry piece?

I carry a spurless SP101 2.5" 357 loaded with 125gr 38 +P JHP. Hardly any felt recoil unless you're shootin 158gr 357 Magnum.

The front sight has been filed down a little so point of aim and point of impact are the same. Out to seven yards shootin off hand at a two inch black square some ammo shoots a little tighter than others but the ammo it likes the best will stay pretty much within the black square.

I few months ago I bought a 2.75" Speed Six. I do shoot the Speed 6 better than my SP101 and it handles 357s easily plus it's a six shooter. I'm experimenting with finding a comfortable carry method for the Speed.

I just treat it like a J frame, throw it in the pocket, and load it up with +P FBI loads or with Barnes. Happy to have it and it succeeds for me in a pocket equally as did a 442 or M&P 340. With the 3" a deep IWB may be preferable. I'm a fan of the platform but there is plenty out there to find the right tool for the job.
