Anyone think that this maybe population control? I’m sure the people in that area of Kazakhstan will be thankful there’s less wolves decimating their freezer filler animals.
Apex predators need to be controlled for the sake of human hunting. In our rugged country out west here the only way they were eradicated before was trapping and poisoning, is either of those much different?
What about hunting over feeders and bait, or using dogs to tree cougars and bear?
Or waiting in a ground blind or tree stand to watch an unknowing deer walk by?
Or the driven hunts so common in Europe?
Who’s determining hunting ethics?
I’ll give you guys this, that given today’s society maybe they should explain the situation better. But out west here we have a real problem brewing with wolf numbers and it’s a wolf that is much bigger than the indigenous species that was eradicated at the turn of the century.
As it relates to closer to home. There’s plenty of area for wolves north of the Canadian belt line which is largely uninhabited to preserve the species. Utter stupidity has them in our backyard again.
