My metallic go into a bottle and then in the trash, my 209s go right in the trash - they aren't brass

Mine fall in my recycling bucket or at least are supposed to. The ones that dont go in the shop vac and then trash.

I have an old 8# powder jug mine go into from the press. Some day, when it's full, I'll take it to the recycle guys, along with my typical loadout of brass, junk motors, wiring, and old copper heat exchangers.

Yes.
• I have a bucket for spoiled brass cases.
• I also have a large jug under my bench that all my pistol and rifle primers get funneled into.
Both bins get taken to the metal recycler.

Why isn't this post a Poll ?

I have an old antifreeze jug that is taken to the recyclers when full. It is brass after all. The shotgun primers are steel so those go in a different pile. I melt and cast the lead, all other metal gets recycled.

I was thinking about used my old primer as tumbling media.... mix with a little walnut! call it a 50Grit tumble

That sounds like more trouble than it's worth, not to mention the crap still in the cup that would be dirty.

I too have a bucket on the floor (out of the way) that I dump spend primers in (spent/used primers too). I also toss bad cases in it. I haven't made it to the scrap yard yet, but when I gather enough energy I will, maybe...

I use old gatorade, juice or plastic booze bottles to store. Don't take up much room and I recycle when I go somewhere that takes them.

If your recycling center will accept them definitely do it, or trade them for lead if you can. The two local to me have stopped taking primers due to some dipsticks leaving live ones in theirs and scaring folks at the main plant.

I’ll either fine a place to recycle them for powder money or build a forge and make bars to sell to crafters for powder money. Either way I’m getting powder out of the deal. :)

My recycler takes spent primers as some sort of brass so I keep them separate from the other brass. All brass is not equal to the scrap dealer.

FYI it's "spent" primers, not 'spend'.
That's funny, I get annoyed by folks calling a cartridge a caliber. Its not the end of world but this can cause a misunderstanding and this can be a problem here.
I think it is more important to be familiar nomenclature of reloading than the spelling. But to minimize confusion it would be prudent to be as accurate as possible in both regards.
As you all know I am not a English major.
