One Powder for 9mm and 45ACP and another for 357/10mm

I've used WSF for 9mm, it's actually my prefered powder. It also works with 45acp. The 357 mag I use WST for my light BE loads. It works well in the 45acp too for light target loads. Since WST was designed for shotgun pressures originally, it burns extremely clean with light charges. I have not loaded 10mm, but the WSF works in the 40 cal. These are old powders that were used in mainly shotgun loads in 60-70's. The also work well in hand guns but you don't see very much data for them any more. Thee meter very well through most all dispensers, being a ball powder.

I have used Unique in 9mm 45acp 357mag 38special. Maybe not the first choice for all but will work

I dont load 10mm but unique maybe universal and siloette should be considered.

Look into Alliant Sport Pistol, it will cover all 4 that you listed for plinker loads.
Although it probably won't get to the peak velocities of .357 or 10mm. (see AA #9 for that...)

I use VV N320 for all my pistol loads and it is a really good clean burning powder, cost a little more but now I don't have to use different powders. I load 9mm, 40S&W and 45 ACP

Another vote for Unique. It will make decent ammo in any of those calibers.

Unique, Power Pistol, HP-38 would be my one-stop-shops for them all.

Unique or N340 would be my choice. Either will work for the cartridges mentioned. Just stock up once you get the chance.

When the panic started I found 10 pounds of Longshot on the shelf at my local Academy. I didn’t buy any out of ignorance because I’d never heard much about it. I researched for a day, ran back and bought 4 pounds. I now love it for midrange magnums, 40S&W and a couple other calibers. I hear it’s great for 10mm and it makes sense it would be. Wish I would have bought more.

That's why I mentioned siloette. Great in 9 45, and I just called and got an unpublished 357 load. No idea on 10.

Some options that might work for you. Power Pistol, BE86, Unique. Not so much under the radar. Some that might be a little under said radar: HS6, WSF, Herco, autocomp, Win 244.

With out looking at the manuals, I would say HS-6 or AA7.
Either will do all 9mm, 357, 10mm and 45.

HS-6 will load kind of heavy in 45.
AA7 will load good in 9mm, 357, 10mm and would load real heavy in 45acp making top velocity load with double digit starting loads.

Power Pistol, but it's pretty popular too.

I burned through a 10 lbs keg of unique over the course of a few years, in 9mm, 45, 40, 38, and 357. It is a bit dirtier than some other choices but works real well! Meters consistent, too.

My knee jerk reaction is Unique, but I think Herco may cover that cartridge spread a little better. Ya know, if you can find it

Autocomp makes good 38/357 loads. It's also used by semi auto guys.
I am impressed by it so far.

As for 9x19 and 45 acp Accurate #5 will do. For 357 mag I have had very good results with Accurate #9 which should do well for the 10mm at the upper end of the data or with heavier bullets.

After some really good advice and some help from other forum members I decided to start working up loads using Ramshot Competition. There’s good loading data for all of the cartridges you mentioned. For magnum performance look at Ramshot Enforcer. I have not had a chance to work with any yet but I been following some threads on it and as soon as I can buy a pound I will start working up .357 loads. Ramshot powders do seem to fly under the radar at least under the cloud banks.

HS6. Accurate and at/near top for speed, easy to clean, but not dirty. Use in 9/38/357/40/44/45.....one powder for all of the centerfire handguns - autos or revolvers.

Unique loaded to max with a 180gr bullet is low end of the spectrum for 10mm. Its like shooting 40.

Power pistol does full power 10mm loads. You can load it on the low end for medium power loads . Power pistol works fine in 9mm but on the high end too.

Winclean seams to have the winning combo. Decent midrange 10mm velocities and works fine in 357,9mm,and 45acp.

Unique is the old standard for .45, but I'd go more with HS6 or power pistol these days. Both work in 9mm. And while maybe not ideal, in .357. Tite Group might also be one to look into.

+1 on titegroup. I personally don't like it because you have to load it hot or it's super dirty, and it's a bit touchier than other powders (it's like .4 grains between min and max loads in most books for 9mm), but lots of people swear by it and it's cheap cheap.

When the first ammo and reloading supplies shortage hit, I developed loads for a variety of powders for my guns.
Tite Group was a new one to me and I too find it a bit touchy in 9mm especially with 147gr bullets.
However, I've found it consistent for my .38spl with 125gr bullets. Mind you I'm only loading to ~125pf for IDPA and ICORE.
Below top end magnum loads I think HS-6 and Power Pistol is all I need.
