I was browsing Ammoseek and came across an outfit called PPU. I looked up the company and they seem to be pretty professional from the always suspect perspective of the interwebs. Have any of you had any experience with them? Just curious......Thanks, and Happy Fathers Day to all you suspects out there on THR.

I have 1,500 rds of mixed .38 PPU SWC/SWCHP left from several 2019 cases and it is my favorite ammo. A little smoky but full power, accurate. I'd buy more but when I hit the "buy again" on Target Sports website for $13/box 50 it says "out of stock." Joe

PPU is a major ammo manufacturer in Serbia. It’s not the best in the world, but I’ve never had any problems with their ammo.

I have shot up PPU ammunition, it all went bang and the bullet went down range. It was rifle stuff, and I don't remember any problems with reloading. Unlike AMERC ammunition, which has to be the worse ammunition that I ever encountered. And that was "American" made.

Between PPU and Sellier & Bellot, my 6.5x55 factory load needs are covered for a while. I bought a case of these PPU loads for $130 bucks about 18 months ago. It’s good stuff .

Stay safe.

PPU aka Privi Partisan is Serbian, makes decent ammo, and has been around long enough to establish a decent reputation. Their commercial ammo is boxer primed non corrosive and reloadable casings. I have bought their .30 Carbine under the Privi Partizan label and their 7.62x25 under the Wolf Gold label.
Headstamp is English PPU or Cyrillic characters that look like nny or Greek pi pi upsilon characters.

I shoot lots of PPU in various calibers and have no complaints. Never shot their 38 Special but I'd highly doubt it has any issues.

It may not be match ammo but it works OK for what it costs. It is good to reload and lasts as well as any of the major makers thatI use. My experience is with rifle ammo though.

They produce many European calibers that US manufacturers don't, and it's good ammo.

Glad they bring these marginally popular calibers here, as they're often the only source.
