These are darn near impossible to get since HK USA never brings em in. Decided I had to have one & started poking around the web late this summer. Found a post on another forum from a guy who bought one from the Attic in Minot, ND back in February. They're an importer & basically grabbed every one HK Germany had available. No way they'd still have any remaining, right? Oh, well, I figured I'd send them an email inquiring. Never hurts to ask. Not only did they have a couple left, but they were available for $1650 shipped AND 90 day layaway was an option. I couldn't call them with my payment information fast enough.

The jet funnel is slightly blemished but for what I paid, I still feel like I stole it, especially since it came with the Euro hard case.

Double action trigger is nothing special, but the single action is nice.

Anyone got a line on a kydex OWB holster for this unicorn?

Took it to the range today. Shoots as you'd expect for a gun of its class even with the cheap WWB (124 gr) I brought with me. Sights were right on from the factory. Only complaint is the long-ish reset.

I have a 45cal USP elite. Great shooter. Very accurate with several of my handloads. I agree about the long reset but it's not a show stopper.

Pretty darn neat I think js. I had a 9mm Expert. Long trigger reset just as you mention, but absolutely the nicest SA trigger of any DA/SA pistol I ever owned. The SA on mine was 4# on my digital gauge, crisp, and tiny over travel. Mine was literally 100% reliable, and as accurate as any pistol I ever owned. Enjoy your new pistol.

You can count on guns manufactured/designed in this country.
One of the residents of these houses probably works at Heckler --und-- Koch.

Even my Czech rifle has its standard, stock barrel from Germany.

js8588: congratulations on your timely discovery..

I have a mk23 and 2 plain old usp. The double action Trigger is pretty bad on all of them. Spongey, notchey, long...not overly heavy though. The SA is ok. More on par with a Beretta 92/96 than a nice Sig. sig has no worries in the trigger department IMO. All my HK have been accurate and fine guns

I've been hunting a 9mm Elite for years. Rumors that HK was bringing some in a while back. The date code confirms they did but not enough to make it to shops near me. I'd give up several pistols for one of these. The most accurate gun I've ever shot. Great find.
