What case trimmer do you use?

I use a Forster trimmer, only one I've ever used. I agree that it is a bit finicky to get set, but not too bad. Once it is set up and running honestly I've been impressed with the consistency and you can pretty quickly trim a good batch up. The price of the little collets and pieces dumbfounded me when I needed to add a few pieces though, but I imagine they are all a bit pricey. Probably best to get a complete kit, so you don't get nickled and dimed down the road if you add cartridges to your reloading scheme.
I agree the Forever might be a little difficult to achieve the exact length you want but I cheat. I use the Lee Zip Trim to size a case then use that case to set the Forever trimmer. It's quick and easy for sure.

I started with a Lyman universal trimmer ---then I went to a Lyman universal power trimmer ( not made anymore) It is still running after many many years

I us a lee Deluxe quick trim for my .223 & .308. Cannot compare this with some of the excellent solutions mentioned so far but it dose the job, and it is a cheap solution. I would say I trim something in the range of 500 to 800 cases a year. Here is a clip of the trimmer in question but my press is a partner press from RCBS not a lee like shown in this clip.

I use a Giraud for 223 and 308. I figured buy once cry once was part of the equation.

I used to use a Lyman trimmer I bought new 15-20 years ago when I first got into reloading. I never got consistent results with that one, and replaced it with the Redding 2400. I'm quite surprised that I'm the first in the thread to mention the Redding 2400. Micrometer adjustments, comes with six pilots to cover most cartridges, and just simply oozes quality. It runs about $225 currently, so not a budget choice, but it's also not in Giraud territory either.

I use an old RCBS Trim Pro 2 trimmer. it uses the shell plates, I drilled out the peened over shaft, removed the handle. I chuck it up in my DeWalt drill. It works really well, really quick, reasonably accurate. just take your time, and it goes faster than you would expect. Slow is fast, they say.
