Just discovered an extremely rare Ruger MKII...One of a kind factory error!

Mark II's with tapered barrels were only roll marked on the receiver. Models with bull barrels were stamped on the barrel itself.
Someone simply did a barrel swap.

If there are no warnings at all....the gun is pre-1979.

I can't believe there are weirdos that would pay "thousands" for a extra warning ! Heck I pay extra, a little , for NO warning !
You ever see how much people will pay for a messed coin/Banknote?

I once sold a dollar bill with an extra line of ink, as in it was darker on a single spot, a lone about 1/8" by 1/4", for a down payment on my car.

This is one for the record book. Rare factory labeling error with warning printed on the receiver and the barrel! Likely one of a kind and worth thousands!!!

So, this other thread about building a stainless Ruger MKII from parts -- started by someone who just happens to have your exact screenname, avatar, join date, post count, and location -- is perhaps why one should be a bit skeptical about claims of "one-of-a-kind" "factory errors," high values, and such.
