I am the not-recoil-sensitive type. Often shoot things pretty well that friends suck at because of recoil issues. They often sell it, but I help prove it's them, not the gun.
Never to my recollection injured. But one I found was just irredeemably unpleasant was the .50 AE Desert Eagle.
Now, I have fired plenty through Desert Eagles. Awesome design, if unreasonably giant. Such that .357 is practically like shooting a .22, and .44s are about like a very noisy 9 mm. But the .50 this guy I knew got because he was stereotypical overcompensating type, was awful.
Fired one round. Hated it in every way. Looked at my hand position and stuff, adjusted a bit. Tried again. Nope. Hate this. Safety on, put on the table.
"Go ahead, finish off the mag."
Naw, I'm done. You can shoot it some more.
