Good morning,
High Standard model 107 series.
Gun is in excel condition but has been unused for 50 years. Cleaned and oiled. Tried to reinstall the barrel. Can’t get the barrel to seat. No rust. Pistol is clean. Possible debris in channel with barrel lock and spring??? How do you get the lock and spring off to clean out the channel???
All responses welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Tom Claydon

Ummm... I think that's the wrong 107.

Part #17 is the barrel takedown plunger Pin. If you must remove the takedown plunger, that's where you start. I wouldn't unless there was no other option to get the plunger working. Try flooding it with solvent while you work it by hand.

Parts in question are part #s:
10120, 10130, 10110.

If your fingers just aren't strong enough. put the barrel plunger on the edge of a table, push the frame firmly forward and seat the barrel into the frame.
First put the slide on and lock it to the rear.
Put the empty magazine in to keep the slide locked back.
