Would you accept this barrel if it was shipped to you?

If I could find another vendor chambering it in the cartridge I want and length I want it would be a feasible option to go with another mfg but unfortunately it’s not. On the other hand as far as accuracy goes. I don’t plan on this being much more than a 200 yds rifle. That is simply because of the energy. I don’t want the meat loos I’ve had lately due to the cartridge I’ve been shooting so I looked for something that fits into the niche I’m looking to fill. My longest possible shot on the place I am currently hunting is 111 yds. If going somewhere I know I have longer shots I take a different rifle. I already know even a messed up barrel is capable of sub moa so hopefully the new barrel will do better. If not then as long as it stays sub moa it’s way less than sub MOD. I’m not looking for polished just not scratched and gouges to all you know what either lol....

Being the ignoramus on this as I am I would try to compare this area to samples of several others the same configuration. I don't know how or if I could do that but that would be my intent.

@Hokkmike That area should be a smooth machined surface no reamer gouges.
Those were not known of when I first posted this thread though. The other marks in the chamber could be polished out but they could also be left alone.

In which case I would be calling, writing, emailing, texting and otherwise contacting the seller. But that is just me. I want things pristine. Best of luck to you in whatever you chose to do..

way better than mine. and this is after 300 or so rounds.

I have a ruger revolver that looks exactly like that, but it’s the most accurate non specialty pistol I’ve ever shot, so it gets a pass

They replaced it after the chamber defects were found as well as lack accuracy. Had it shot well I would have left it alone.

New barrel received Saturday, looks much better! Even included a box of ammo with it. Guess I’ll use that as a baseline for similar load velocity estimates.
Sounds like good customer service. I'm happy for you. What chambering is it by the way? I was trying to guess by the brass. But couldn't get a solid guess.
