I dont like Glocks. A glock in my hand feels like putting one of my boots on the wrong foot. It just feels weird.

Today I paid half on a pistol I dont like, just because 33 round magazines in pistols are fun. Its a police trade-in 2nd gen G17, worn on the outside, looks new on the inside.

The cost of the pistol (with one LE mag), and one 33 round magazine OTD is roughly the same as a RRA 9mm upper from adco, which is what I planned on for next payday :banghead:

I suppose a big magazine is as good a reason as any. My last purchase was a SA mil-spec. I got it for the simple fact it was parkerized, and the rest of my 1911s are stainless...

Watch out! The tatical tupperware will get ya! I bought a Glock 17 for a IDPA SSP class toy. I have 6 17rd mags and 2 of the Glock 18 mags (33rd). I have a lot of fun with it at speed steel matches too! Lots of bang for the buck.

I have some 30 round mags for my ruger p89 and they are a lot of fun. Takes a lot longer to load it than unload it.

A 30 round mag in my BHP has proved to be ''fun''!!! Also a very rapid way to burn up ammo!! Gotta be done tho!
Details please. I was talking to a guy today about the BHP being more controlable during rapid fire, and a much better fit for my hand, and he said he couldn't find 30s for his BHP. I'm sure he'd be interested on where to find one, or four. He has a pair of G19s, and a pair of 33s for each. If I'm not mistaken he has two BHPs...

I may get one more 17 round mag, and then I'll start on getting more 33s. I wont have the pistol for another two weeks or so, but I have one 33 round mag on my desk waiting for it, lol. I'd probably have more if I didnt spend $130 on Colt SMG mags. That coulda been one more 17 round and three more 33s...

Zach - my memory is awful so - I have to assume I got mine from either CDNN or Natchezz. It is marked ''Browning Hi Power 9mm'' - but no other markings. Like as not it is a ProMag but, guessing again!

One of those things I saw whilst surfing looking for something else - ahhh - better have one!! Indeed, BHP is for me too a very controllable platform for rapid.

It certainly is not a high quality mag but luckily has proved good and reliable. Sorry not more help.

Loading the mag of course - sucks! :p

Hang on for a pic

Okay, I'll tell him to check out the websites. I'd think he would have looked at CDNN, he reccomends them a lot. Thanks for the info, I'll pass it on.

And loading the mag doest bother me much, yet. The owner of the range used to have an MP5 rental. Spend a few minutes loading, have a few seconds of fun. Repeat.

I almost ran him out of 9mm one day. But to be fair his ammo shipment was a few days late...

Oh, nice pistol:)

Promag makes a 30 round mag for the XD-9. I'm thinking of getting one. Any Carbines that use XD-9 Mags?

Guys,
I have seen the 30 rd mags for the Rugers in both "Cheaper Than Dirt" and "Sportsmans Guide". You might check "Botac" as well. The 33rd Glock 18 mags I bought from them were $20. The 17 rd mags were $14. These were factory mags. Might wanna check it out.
