No reason for the post other than being a proud Dad.

I hope he can always keep that smile while holding a rifle.

Yes, it is!

Which is the granddaughter?

I am not ready for grandpahood. To much daddying to be done.

Aww. That's absurdly cute. Keep 'em coming!

Also, does anyone else's "Smilies" box on the right keep moving around the different smiles? The :uhoh: is now where the  used to be, and the  is where the ;) used to be. Very odd.

I've got several of my sons with firearms...all made before digital.Could scan them, but I'd look through half a million to find them! I love those early shots of young shooters! Just wait till he starts showing you some really nice groups. You'll be proud all over again! Keep looking to the future.
Mark.

Ditto. Here's mine on the first day with his 6th birthday present. Yes, he can recite the 4 rules. His shooting isn't too bad, either.

That is the only room in the house that still has one of those. It is my computer room. My safe is also bolted to the floor in the closet of the same room. The closet door has no door knob. Only a dead bolt and hasp with a pad lock. I know it won't seter a determined thief, but it will keep a curious 3 year old out.

Don't knock the childproof doorknobs until you tried them ;)

Reminds me of a joke...

A man's father-in-law and mother-in-law visit the couple at their house. The mother-in-law is poking around the house and notices a big tub of vaseline on the nightstand and inquires about what its for. The daughter glances at her husband, blushes a little and says "its for sex." The father-in-law gives the husband an angry stare and the woman responds "its not what you think. when we want to have sex, we smear a bunch on the bedroom doorknob to keep the kids out"

Lol...

You guys treat your kids well! I just got my first (real) gun last month, and didnt shoot one till i was 12....

Gotta love it when the guns as tall as the kid..or in the case of the second pick twice as tall.

He yhe...like the japanese and their arisakas...no offence meant.

My son isn't a shooter yet, he's more of a reloader. Here he is helping his dad seat some bullets for some 7.5x55 cartridges. Keep them busy and they will stay out of trouble :D

Being a first time gun owner (12 GA Remington 870) I can't wait to teach my children, my 11 year old daughter and my son, who is due to arrive around the 23rd of July. I look forward to being able to post photos of them like the rest of you proud individuals. :D
