Does anyone use this set up?

I am thinking of one for my MKlll Hunter. From what I've read, they're pretty cool.

hope

you get some good answers, want one for my berretta storm but having a hard time turning loose of $400 whith out some imput.

Ok, I pulled the trigger so to speak on this sight. I ordered it, the one with the AA batteries and it came to $330. I should have it next week.

Love 'em! The two I have are 511A65 models(N-cell with 2D reticle).

Recently mounted one on my Ruger MKII and it worked great, though, I would probably just purchase the Bushnell version without the aluminum roll bar if I were leaving it on. It's the exact same unit only lighter and cheaper.
This one sells for $230 locally-

My understanding of the difference between the Busnell and the EOTech is that the EO has the "roll cage" and it also has better shock isolation so it can take a beating. The difference between the new model EOt (512 series) and the ones that places like SFWA are blowing out is mainly in the level of shock isolation. The earlier models had a problem with just blanking out, and the new ones, which are also current mil-issue don't have that problem. I don't know how common that was though.

I love the EOTech. It is the fastest thing there is. At close range you use the 65 MOA circle, center the target in the middle and blaze away, and I can get easy hits at 200 yards with the 1 MOA dot. I have not used it past that range yet. Great optic.

From Chris at SWFA-

.
"EOTech is the manufacturer of both sights. Years ago before anyone had ever heard of EOTech, Bushnell signed a deal with them to market their product with Bushnell's name on it. Later EOTech decided to market their product along side Bushnell using their own name. Bushnell and EOTech had a little falling out and have now decided that Bushnell will market to hunters and EOTech will market to police and military.

They are identical in performance and specs. The EOTech tactical models have a roll bar and night vision capabilities."
