This Uberti Pocket Navy bellongs to Johnny Bates, Percussion Pistols and Revolvers, who recently made and dovetail mounted a tall front sight. We had thought the P. Navy had a lot of possibilities and this modification begins to bring them out. it also has a fairly rough action and needs minor modification to make it handle burst caps a bit smoother. The trigger pull is light and crisp. In shooting this group, I was unaware of doing anything to cause the vertical stringing but It obviously did take place. Bates sighted it in and it hit right to my point of aim. I suspect here a very effective rabbit gun fired from two hands.
