I dont it would look half as bad if the paint used, was a matte finish, instead of a glossy finish. Black grips would be a must also.

I'd ask the same question I read when Colt came out with the Realtree Anaconda.

This guy gonna come into the woods with you to help find it when you set it down?

LOL threw up a little bit in my mouth...

that is ugly... i cant believe someone did that to a 1911... a polymer i could see then you could us that plastic paint.. and it would cover well.. wonder how long this finish is going to last..

I think it would look great with a few finishing touches. Maybe a gold plated trigger? And ivory grips! :D

Not the worst I've seen. But I did see one that looked like a good idea.

Several years ago I met a guy at a gun shop who told me about a 1911 he had.

His wife had designed a flower arrangement in their home that looked like a giant toy box, with dolls, balls, garrish colors, etc.

It is important here that I mention he had no children.

Since he had a spare 1911, he painted it in bright reds, yellows and blues and placed it amongst the toys in the flower display.

His thinking was this. He might be the victim of a home invasion. The 'gun' in the display would be mistaken for a plastic model. This painted gun would be his 'last ditch' weapon.

The gun was ugly. The idea was unique.

A new candidate for ugliest gun in America
This may be a winner !!!!!!!!!

That's even worse than the rainbow-slide SIG I've seen, not to even bring up the camo'ed Glocks, Buck Marks, Colt revolvers, and SIGs I've seen in the last couple of years.

Even worse, it's shiny like a jungle snake.

Regards,
Rabbit.

I've seen worse.

I like that first one better than the camo one in the OP, it actually looks like it is supposed to go together.
