I'm trying to find a Camelbak BFM locally so I can take a look at it and see the pocket layouts and such. I'm not to optimistic about finding one though.

Any BFM owners have good pictures of the pockets? A picture showing the bladder pocket would be nice too. I found a few good pics here but I'd like more.

Any ideas on what chains are most likely to carry a BFM in stock or is it rare to find?

Those are great pics. Thanks.

That small pocket on the front appears to be perfectly configured for holding the contents of a first aid kit.

There are a few more pics I'd like to see, or at least a description.

are their any dividers in the two side pockets?

Any dividers or organizers in the medium sized pocket just above the little first aid kit pocket?

Is the water bladder compartment seperated from the rest of the pack or is it just a sleeve inside the main compartment?

How comfortable is the pack?

That Sportcat is one tactical moth...

Shutchumouf!

:D

Sportcat, have you seen the Maxpedition Vultures and how do they compare?

mr_dove,

I'l try and get some more pics posted this afternoon - I'll also get a better description of the pockets.

I'd appreciate that. I think my chances of finding one here locally to look at are pretty darn slim.

thanks for the awesome pics. It looks really great. Looks like you could really haul some stuff there.

All your stuff looks new still. You gonna head out to the woods and test it out. Gotta check to see what you're missing.

Can you say how comfortable the pack is? Have you worn is around loaded up heavy yet?

Dang, I just have too many questions about this thing. I wish I could find one locally. I doubt any shops carry them though.

I did figure something good about the BFM as compared to other packs. The BFM included the water bladder while others require you to buy it. That's a $20-30 savings right there. I hear the BFM can hold 2 bladders though. Not sure how they would fit.

Excuse the hairy arms and tactical blue coat hanger.

The pack is extremely comfortable (well padded straps), but I have yet to give it a thorough weekend test.

Yes, there is plenty of room for gear. The bladder (yes, it can hold two) fits in a seperate zippered pocket directly up against your back.

Blue Tactical Hanger

This is so embarassing because I was going to ask where to get the really cool hanger shown in one of the shots. . .

It is a great pack though. Have had mine for about 5 months now and wouldn't trade it for another 3 day pack period.

Mr_Dove... if you haven't picked one up and still want to see one loaded, come out to the CO-AR15 December 10th shoot. I'll have mine with me and you're more than welcome to check it out.

thanks. I was actually able to see one at a Denver gun show somewhat recently. It was nice but I'm debating whether going with something like this or a larger, hiking pack.

You now know my secret. I am the same person as bbrown609. I just got the name working again. I don't know why it now works as I have done nothing to it. I accidently signed in with it the other day, and it worked.
