NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Drivers could immediately respond with deadly force to a forced attempt to enter their cars under a bill passed unanimously by the Senate on Thursday.
The measure sponsored by Sen. Don McLeary would expand the authorization of deadly force from homes to vehicles.
"This protects the rights of law abiding citizens instead of the villains," said McLeary, R-Jackson.
