Nope, not when you use it for what it was originally designed for, pest control in urban areas.

They make rat shot for pest control.

Its probably great for a turkey shoot!

In effect, it's a non-NFA silencer for a shotgun, if you use subsonic ammo. It's so unwieldy, and subsonic shotshells are weak enough, that I don't think anyone cares that it's not regulated.

Just more absurdity as law-abiding gun owners work to comply with the gun laws. A sound suppressor is much more compact and probably more effective to boot. Thanks ATF!

A few members at Metro Gun Club here in Blaine, MN shoot these things in competition. I remember the first time walking past a couple guys shooting clays with these things attached - I couldn't believe my eyes! I thought it was a joke! No joke. Apparently there is quite a following in this specialized arena of shotgunning. As is mentioned above too - I couldn't believe my ears either! These things are practically silent - at most sounds like a pellet gun!

Because it isn't a 32 inch barrel, but rather a 32 inch barrel extension.
