XMen2: I thought I spotted a Sig Pro?

I thought I saw a SIG as well...the one that failed it's one shot stop test against Logan?

The one policeman that was standing to the side...the one that shot, i thought had a glock .45, i could be wrong tho.

Edit: guess i was...didnt look THAT close at the gun, just assumed Glock for some reason i guess.... dumb me :banghead:

what were the president's men using? were those d.eagles? Was waiting for a thread to pop up here. Thought i saw one 92f....but that could have been in the previews

The President's men looked like they were carrying SIGs to me. The one that shot my namesake, Nightcrawler (I picked this name for TFL before I ever heard of the X-Men character, thank you), in the Oval Office certainly looked like he was carrying a Sig.

The scene where Logan's forehead healed and pushed the bullet out of his head was really cool. I don't know much about Adamantium, but I'll bet something with more oomph would be required to take him out.

Maybe .50BMG API?

Don't USSS guys carry Sig .357's? Twoblink...your bullet logistics just checked in...

And I don't want to know how it got to Taiwan so fast either....

The cop uses a Glock of some kind (not up on models/caliber visual differences). And the SS guys are all using Sigs as far as I can tell, a couple MP5s but zero Desert Eagles that I can see (thank god, that would be lame...)

The police who shot Logan were the Boston Police Department (that's where the house they were visited was); so presumably whatever caliber Glock they use in real life is the same as the one which shot Logan.

The cops had Glocks, the USSS had Sigs, and the bad guy spec ops guy who had the gun to Wolverine/Mystique's head had a Walther P99.

What can I say, I'm a gun geek. Man that was a good movie!

I also thought they were Glocks (the ones the cops were using when they shot Logan), but couldn't tell with the rest.

I saw it with my one friend who was drooling over the guys and I was drooling over the guns. It was quite funny.

Course now she wants to go see X-men the first one. I loved both and want to go see both again.

I always wondered about those Asian guys with camcorders walking into the first Matrix movie.

I spoted them all but the sigs... Havent seen enough sigs in my life i guess.

You sure that glock to wolvy was a 9mm? i was thinking .45 by the size of the bullet/hole it had...

That was a really kick butt movie tho. Loved every min of it.

And did notice the p99's, my friend kinda said huh when i noted they were using "superior firearms" than the rest of the people in the movie

Regarding the Glock that shot Wolverine I'm gonna say it's not a .45ACP. It's too thin. Anyone who's every seen a Glock 21 knows those are a substantial piece of shooting iron. This looks like a Glock 17,22, or 31 (9mm, .40S&W, or .357SIG respectively). I know the Glock 22 is really popular with law enforcement right now, so that's my guess.

If you haven't seen X2 yet I give it my enthusiastic recommendation. And the Matrix Reloaded comes out in one week!!!! WHEEEEE!!!!

Thank God you guys saw the P99 as well. I blurted it out in the theater (as well as "Glock!" before Wolverine got shot) and then felt like a total gun goober.

I'm not really up to speed on Marvel's laws of physics, but I think adamantium is supposed to be bulletproof. Period. End of debate. Now, where's that ceramic Glock for when Magneto floats into town?

The movie was released here 2 days BEFORE the world opening; to coincide with the holiday here.. So I watched it 2 days before the rest of the world.

Pretty neat what Magneto can do with a few ball bearings.

Just kinda took a stab at the .45....as it appeard to be a big barrel and pretty good size "hole" in him.

Yea adimatium is indistructable once cool. Well nothing on earth and most humans/mutants have that could hurt it....and magneto has the ability to control it. Remember....wovly isnt coverd in the stuff....just his bones. so his bones are unbreakable basicly. reason why he in perticular was chosen for that project was his mutant powers of healing and a bit of his ability to stalk/hunt like an animal. So you can hurt him but he will get up. hurt him really really badly, takes him a few mins to heal. you have to do something like 80-90% total damage to him or cut parts off to kill them/him

Lady Deathstrike was doing her darnedest to kill him, had me cringing...

This is officially the geekiest fanboy thread I have ever seen on THR.

And what no mention of all the FN P90s in the assault on Xavier's School for the Gifted?

And, dude...come on..Wolverine was Weapon X WAY back in the Pre-Alpha Team days... 'Days of Future Past' showed that an energy blast from a Sentinel would...would... oh man

Esp when your target is bullet proof!!! That was a great movie. I cant wait till Hulk comes out!!

THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN the movie yet!!! I didn't see any spoilier warnings so I assumed that this would just be a discussion of weapons in the movie, NOT the plot line or any cool surprises in the film. Thanks a lot.
