I'm on the fence about getting a pistol duracoated. It's a homely Browning HP 9mm that sat neglected in a display case for over a year. It's a MkIII, it's pitted and someone did a crappy job nickeling it. Not horrible, but not great.
It's a tackdriver. First time I took it out, after shooting one ragged hole at 10 yards, I started doing the same at 25. I can shoot a walnut out of a tree from 30 yards away with this thing.
To say I've become attached is an understatement.
Have a local who can do a great job duracoating it for $75, which will take care of the light pitting, but need to see some pics to be sure.
