Custom recoil spring plugs?

I had posted this ? on another forum and got good ideas, but then someone suggested this and i did it..........what do you guys think?
I was looking for any other recoil spring plug options. One spent shell, dremel tool, and 15 minutes later..............

don't know yet, as soon as weather permits, i'll give it a try.....

Sorry I took so long folks.........the thing works. Fired about 50 rounds even though that's not even close to a real test but it held pretty good. Just thought i'd let you know.

update.......thing's like the energizer bunny, keeps going and going.........another 150 rounds no problem.....BTW, did I ever mention that its on a RIA 38 Super?
